May 23, 2015BOYS TO BRAVES 2015by Editor FourWinds

We are thrilled to announce a music focus for this years Boys to Braves Weekend…

Boys Rite of Passage Ceremony

Each year, boys from ages 10-18 and their supporters are taken on a journey back to a time when the tribe held the wisdom of the ages and boys were taught that being a man meant to honor and protect all life.

These lessons will be taught through traditional ceremonies, music, singing, drum making, nature walks and lessons, flute playing, camping and much much more…

Max Ribner  –

Youth Music Empowerment

Max provides humbling  space for the children & surrounding parents in a open circle teaching about spirit of music.  An important tool he brings is offering the talking stick, giving the children time to speak from their heart & share what they believe in.  Through melody & rhythm Max brings forth a spirit empowerment, hope & inspiration forming a powerful pack within this circle.     Everything in nature correlates to all things inside of us, so join him & mentors by grandfather fire to remember your heartbeat of life
